Hunt Desk Associate

Position Description: Hunt Desk Associate

Report to: Hunt Desk Director 

Employment Classification: Hourly, non-exempt 

Position Summary 

The Hunt Desk Associate serves as the first point of contact for guests at Minnesota Horse and Hunt Club. This position provides exceptional customer service by welcoming and seating guests in the restaurant, managing daily shooting operations, assisting with membership services, retail sales, event administration, and clubhouse operations.  

Performance Metrics 

  • Accurately process reservations, transactions, memberships, and shooting activities while minimizing errors. 
  • Demonstrate initiative by identifying opportunities to improve operations and assisting with dining, kitchen, and events demand. 
  • Support club events, leagues, memberships, and daily operations while following all club policies and procedures 

Qualifications 

  • A minimum of 1 year of customer-facing experience in hospitality, recreation, or a related field is required. 
  • Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills. 
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. 
  • Minimum availability: 30 hrs/wk, including evenings, 2+ weekends/month & holidays. 

Physical Requirements 

  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods. 
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 30 pounds. 
  • Ability to work both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions. 
  • Ability to operate office equipment and point-of-sale systems.

Position Description: Restaurant/Event Server

Report to: Front of House Manager/Event Owner 

Employment Classification: Hourly, non-exempt  

Position Summary 

The Restaurant Server/Event server is responsible for providing friendly, attentive, and efficient service while creating an outstanding dining experience for every guest. This position takes food and beverage orders, delivers meals accurately, maintains menu knowledge, and ensures guests receive prompt, professional service throughout their visit.  

Performance Metrics 

  • Deliver exceptional guest service and maintain high customer satisfaction scores. 
  • Accurately process orders while minimizing errors and ticket corrections. 
  • Meet expectations for sales, teamwork, and overall dining room efficiency. 
  • Consistently keeps assigned tables, service stations, and surrounding work areas clean. Completes all assigned opening, running, and closing side work duties. 

Qualifications 

  • 18 years or older 
  • Previous restaurant or hospitality experience preferred, but not required 
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. 
  • Minimum availability requirements: 15hrs/wk including evenings, 2+ weekends/month & holidays. 

Physical Requirements 

  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and perform physical tasks, including bending, reaching, and climbing stairs, while maintaining efficiency during busy periods. 
  • Must be able to lift and carry trays, food, and beverage items weighing up to 40 pounds.

Position Description: Line Cook

Report to: Executive Chef/Sous Chef 

Employment Classification: Hourly, non-exempt 

 Position Summary 

The Line Cook is responsible for preparing and plating menu items according to established recipes, quality standards, and presentation guidelines. This position works efficiently during service while maintaining food safety, cleanliness, and organization within the kitchen. Line cooks contribute to a productive team environment by assisting with food preparation, station setup, inventory rotation, and maintaining consistent food quality. 

Performance Metrics 

  • Prepare menu items accurately while meeting quality, presentation, and food cost standards. 
  • Maintain efficient ticket times during all service periods. 
  • Follow food safety procedures while minimizing food waste and maintaining portion consistency. 

Qualifications 

  • Previous line cook or kitchen experience preferred, but willing to train motivated candidates. 
  • Knowledge of food safety practices with the ability to work effectively under pressure (Food safety certificate preferred). 
  • Minimum availability requirements:15 hrs/wk, including evenings, 2+ weekends/month & holidays. 

Physical Requirements 

  • Ability to stand and work in high-temperature environments for long periods while performing repetitive kitchen tasks such as bending, reaching, and moving quickly. 
  • Must be able to safely lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

Position Description: Restaurant Dishwasher

Report to: Executive Chef/Sous Chef 

Employment Classification: Hourly, non-exempt 

Position Summary 

The Dishwasher plays an essential role in maintaining a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen by washing dishes, cookware, utensils, and kitchen equipment while assisting with overall kitchen cleanliness. Dishwashers may also assist with basic food preparation and other kitchen support duties as assigned. 

Performance Metrics 

  • Maintain clean and sanitized dishware with minimal service interruptions. 
  • Support kitchen cleanliness while meeting health and sanitation standards. 
  • Complete assigned cleaning duties accurately and efficiently. 

Qualifications 

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment with a positive attitude. 
  • Minimum availability requirements:15 hrs/wk, including evenings, 2+ weekends/month & holidays.  

Physical Requirements
