North vs South Clay Challenge
Two clubs. Two weekends. One challenge.
The North vs South Clay Challenge is a first-of-its-kind sporting clay tournament bringing together shooters from both ends of Minnesota for an unforgettable summer competition. Experience two completely different courses, club atmospheres, and shooting styles while competing for bragging rights between Northern and Southern Minnesota shooters.
Participants will shoot one weekend at Minnesota Horse and Hunt Club and one weekend at Hunts Point.
Whether you’re competing for the leaderboard, the road trip memories, or simply to experience two incredible facilities — this event is built to bring the Minnesota clay shooting community together.
Event Dates
South Shoot – The Minnesota Horse & Hunt Club
July 24–26, 2026
Hosted at Minnesota Horse and Hunt- 2920 220th St. E. Prior Lake, MN
Shoot any day during the weekend.
North Shoot – Hunts Point Gun Club
August 7–9, 2026
Hosted at Hunts Point – 2142 76th St SW, Pequot Lakes, MN 56472
Shoot any day during the weekend.
Registration Details
$299 + tax
Your registration includes:
- Entry into BOTH tournament weekends
- 300 total sporting clays
- Two unique tournament experiences and courses
- Lunch included at both locations
- Event scoring & prizes
Important:
Registration covers both weekends. If you are unable to attend one of the weekends, entry fees remain non-refundable.
Online registration closes July 23rd at 5:00pm – Walk-ins accepted.
Tournament Format
- 150 Targets Total at each location
- 75 Bird Morning Course
- Lunch Included
- 75 Bird Afternoon Course
Transportation Option
Hunts Point Charter Bus
Hunt’s Point has chartered a bus for shooters traveling south to Horse & Hunt on Saturday, July 25th.
Bus Add-On: $60 per person
Includes:
- Snacks & beverages on the ride down
- Snacks & alcoholic beverages for the ride home
- Group travel with fellow shooters

Horse & Hunt Bus Option
